Our client is a progressive and team oriented company responsible for managing vital transport infrastructure and a rail freight network that stretches more than 5,000 kms across WA, from the Midwest to the Goldfields and all the way down to the South West. Categorised as “Essential Services” during Covid-19 Pandemic, our client offers stability in an agile and flexible environment.

The Role

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Gathering requirements from stakeholders
  • Designing and developing websites, server side logic and application integration
  • Writing well-structured code that follows solid principles
  • Quality delivery using automated unit testing and writing well thought out system test plans
  • Taking projects from initial concept through an ongoing cycle of requirements, cost/benefit analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment and being responsible for all these stages, working directly with the business
  • Extending functionality of existing applications or migrating newer technologies where appropriate

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Relevant degree in Technology
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core, jQuery/JavaScript, MVC, HTML/CSS, MSSQL
  • A strong focus on quality delivery using automated unit testing and writing well thought out system test plans
  • Experience of Agile delivery techniques
  • Establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps practices
  • 3rd level application support and problem resolution
